The RIBA stands for architecture. We celebrate and safeguard its heritage and stimulate and promote its future.

We encourage excellence in design, good practice and architectural education. We campaign on important issues such as design standards and sustainability. The RIBA provides cultural programmes for the public and makes the history of architecture accessible to all through our outstanding collections, library and exhibitions, including online through our website and RIBApix.
