Celebrate your Barmitzvah or Batmitzvah in the Florence Hall at the RIBA
The Florence Hall| is a truly unique and prestigious venue. The RIBA's largest and most richly decorated room, re-furbished by Conran & Partners, will add elegance and grandeur to your special occasion. Vast floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with daylight, and stunning etched glass doors open out onto a delightful roof terrace. Our roof terrace| provides a beautiful open area to accompany the Florence Hall in the Summer.
The First Floor Landing|, one of the grandest and most social spaces in the building, extends around the marble staircase and provides an ideal setting for a drinks reception. Its high ceilings and long windows give a feeling of splendour and spaciousness whilst its grand piano can provide the perfect accompaniment to your arrival.
The Florence Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner with dance floor. in addition we have other rooms available if seperate games, entertainment or dancing areas are required, please ask for further details.
The venue and catering teams have vast special-event experience with a focus on excellence. Our in house caterers have created a selection of non-offensive menus (which can be downloaded via the link below), alternatively we would be delighted to design a bespoke menu to perfectly complement your event. If you require Kosher catering we have a list of suppliers who are allowed to cater in the building or alternatively we now provide the option of having our catering supervised by the Masorti Bet Din|. Please ask the Venues team for further details.
A dedicated venue manager and catering manager will provide you with as much assistance as you require with the planning of your important day. We can recommend or book suppliers for all those important finishing flourishes such as flowers, music, entertainment, and decorations.
We highly recommend www.uptownevents.co.uk| for providing a wide range of entertainment and music to create the perfect Barmitzvah or Batmitzvah. "RIBA was a fantastic venue for our recent Barmitzvah. We made good use of the patio, holding the reception outside. The Florence Hall |was transformed into a superb party venue - it looked stunning with high ceiling, big windows, colour and plenty of space . We found the venue adaptable enabling lighting and blackout windows to change the atmosphere as the evening progressed. The staff at RIBA were professional, keen to help and advise, and available at all stages of planning. The AV support |was also exceptional and we took full advantage of the large screen and visual aids.
We would highly recommend this RIBA to anyone looking for a contemporary, modern venue in Central London|."
