Study and teaching roomsSpaces to promote new ways of learning using the RIBA British Architectural Library collections.

 

Visitors to the extensive architectural collections of the RIBA have the chance to use the study and teaching rooms in two locations: the RIBA headquarters at 66 Portland Place and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

These rooms have been used by groups of students and educators from schools, colleges and universities as a space to explore the collections, conduct research and hold talks. They are part of the Library’s commitment to widening public access to the collections, read about how the collections have been used in our education programmes|

 

RIBA Architecture Study Rooms|

  • They are situated in the V&A.
  • Access to over a million items in the Drawings & Archives Collection.
  • Admission is free. 

CETLD Bene Education Room|

  • It is located inside the RIBA headquarters.
  • Use it to explore the Photographs, and Books and Periodical Collections, or to host seminars.
  • Schools, universities and members of the RIBA can book the room for free.
  • Internet and video conferencing facilities are available.
