Photocopying service
A photocopying service is available for most of the books and journal articles held in the Library|. To search the holdings of the Library, use the online catalogue|.
To request a photocopy use the photocopy order and photocopy charges forms. This is subject to the law of copyright and amending regulations.
Private photography and scanning of material is not permitted in the Library at 66 Portland Place. This applies to the use of cameras and mobile phones.
For reasons of conservation we are unable to provide photocopies from fragile materials or items. We may be able to provide a photograph as an alternative.

Photography service
A photography service is available for fragile items. Photographic copies (including the making of slides) can also be made of any drawing, photograph or manuscript in the Library's collections by our accredited photographer. For further details and prices please contact the RIBA Library Photographs Collection|.
Some photographs and images of items from the collections have been digitised, these can be viewed and purchased via the online image database RIBApix|.
