The V&A + RIBA Architecture Partnership has an educational programme dedicated to extending the appreciation and understanding of architecture. Schools and other groups can use the RIBA Architecture Study Rooms| at the Victoria & Albert Museum. There they can look at archive material from the RIBA and V&A collections and meet architecture curators and educators. All are welcome to visit.

Online educational resources

Through Partnership, the combined collections of the V&A and RIBA are made available as a free and publicly accessible learning resource, for all those interested in architecture and design. Resources and learning material, aimed at students and teachers, from the Partnership's educational programmes are available online:

  • DesignLab: Exploring Skylines
Using the V&A and RIBA architecture collections, this resource focuses on city skylines and explores how individual buildings, their design, structure and materials, combined create an important aspect of a city's visual identity: its skyline. Key Stage 3-5 Art & Design
  • Online Workshops
These six online workshops are based on images and material drawn from the RIBA and V&A. They are aimed at students from Higher Education and can be used to explore our collections and different themes in architecture such as design and process.

More resources can be found at RIBA Library Education Programmes| and V&A Education|.
