RIBA Library Photographs CollectionThe RIBA British Architectural Library Photographs Collection is one of the leading collections of photographs of architecture and design. We are currently looking for volunteers to help catalogue our collection.

It holds over 1.5 million images covering pre-history to the present.

It has worldwide coverage.

It covers related subjects such as interior design, topography, landscape, construction and planning.

It holds the archive of the Architectural Press, the publishers of the Architectural Review and Architects' Journal.

It includes the work of acknowledged photographic masters such as Eric de Maré and Tony Ray-Jones.

It holds the archives of 20th century photographers including John Maltby, John Donat and Henk Snoek.
A selection of images from the RIBA Library collections can be viewed and purchased online on RIBApix|. The Photographs Collection is housed at the RIBA headquarters| and images are held in a wide range of formats: negatives, prints, colour transparencies, postcards and digital files.
