Where to start? At first, a local study can seem very challenging. Neatly packaged
schemes of work, textbooks and other resources rarely deal with your immediate surroundings. Contacts are needed, documents uncovered, facilities
explored: access to a wide range of information is key.

So, to give you some idea, here is a basic outline of what was done, who was involved and how the educational resources were put together. Principally, these deal with the London Borough of Hackney as this was the project’s focus.

However, the same approach can be applied to an area local to you! Start by getting out and about|.
