Laura Lee, received an RIBA Honorary Fellowship in 2009

The RIBA's 2011 Honorary Fellowships are open for nominations. The closing date is Friday 14 May.

They reward the particular contributions people have made to architecture in its broadest sense: its promotion, administration and outreach; its role in building more sustainable communities; and its role in the education of future generations. Any person who is not an architect may be elected as an RIBA Honorary Fellow.

The 2010 Honours Committee comprised of RIBA President Ruth Reed, Edward Cullinan, Max Fordham, David Adjaye, Valerio Olgiati and Laura Lee. The Honours Committee also selects the Royal Gold Medal and International Fellowships.
